Ballin' on a Budget: Clean Skincare Brands at Target
So you’re ready to make a swap to clean beauty, but not sure where to start? Or maybe you have wanted to make a switch, but the price point seems a bit unattainable? I’ve been there! It’s true, often times clean products do come with a higher price point because of healthier ingredients, but there are some brands that won’t give you sticker shock!
Find it at Target
Since my go-to spot is Target, I’ve compiled list of some brands that have some amazing, clean products at reasonable prices! One thing to note: Target recently adapted a “Clean Seal” to let shoppers know that a product is free of common controversial ingredients. While this is a great tool, many of these brands still use ingredients that I personally don’t consider clean, such as synthetic “fragrance”. The brands I’ve listed do not use “Fragrance” (with the exception of one that I’ve noted).
Acure
Acure makes some great clean products ranging from skincare to shampoo!
Products I recommend: Brightening Day Cream, Argan Oil & Pumpkin Shampoo
Alaffia
This brand is such great value for products like body lotion and body cleanser because they come in huge bottles! I really like their coconut lime body lotion, although, I don’t think that product is sold at Target.
Products I want to try: Coconut Reishi Facial Mist
Alba
Another brand that is a great value because of the huge bottles for body lotion!
Products I recommend: Very Emollient Body Lotion
Burt’s Bees
Burt’s Bees ranges in products from lotion and cleansers, to makeup and eye masks.
Products I recommend: Lip Balm (a classic!)
Products I want to try: Overnight Lip Treatment
Cocokind
I just recently saw this brand and their products look amazing!
Products I want to try: Turmeric Spot Treatment
Derma e
I love Derma e! They are a skincare company that They’re a bit newer to Target shelves, but can often be found at stores like Whole Foods.
Products I recommend: Vitamin C Moisturizer
Products I want to try: Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel
Fatco
This is a brand that I have been eyeing and super excited to try soon! Their products are made with super natural ingredients like tallow and apple cider vinegar, and all of them look amazing.
Products I want to try: Cleansing Oil, Pit Spritz Deodorizing Spray
Honest Beauty
Love how diverse the Honest Company—they have products ranging from baby care to makeup. Honest Beauty carries a lot of skincare and makeup in Target stores.
Products I recommend: Everything Primer Glow
Products I want to try: Hydrogel Cream, Gentle Konjac Sponge
Meow Meow Tweet
What a fun name for a brand! They are newer to the shelves of Target but I’ve seen them online recently.
Products I want to try: Deodorant Cream
Pacifica
Pacifica is a great brand because they’ve made themselves so accessible for where the average gal shops. My one caveat with Pacifica is that they do use a “natural” fragrance in many of their products. I’m starting to distance myself from the some of their products for that reason, but I still believe they’re a great option for someone who is just starting transition to clean beauty.

Sailor by Captain Blankenship
Captain Blankenship created this line exclusively for Target at a lower price point—super cool for a brand to make their products more accessible to women!
Products I recommend: Mermaid Dry Shampoo (not a part of the Sailor line)
Products I want to try: Sea Mist Refreshing Toner
Seaweed Bath Co.
This is probably one of my favs right now! Back in the day, I was a total sucker for the Bath & Body Works “Stress Relief” line (full of toxins) and the Seaweed Bath Co. Eucalyptus Peppermint scents totally remind me of it!

SheaMoisture
SheaMoisture has been in Target for years & their products are total staples. I love how many different lines they have for varying needs—there’s something for everyone.
Products I recommend: Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner, 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Body Wash
Products I want to try: Raw Shea Butter Moisture Recovery Treatment Masque
Weleda
I have seen this brand for years but have yet to actually try anything out! Hopefully I’ll put a list together and finally take the plunge!

W3LL PeoplE
Although their line is mostly makeup, I thought they were worth including! A bit of a higher price point, but still a great value in my opinion.
